P-40 Gen.2 pants
I wore these for a two day training session and a PRS match at K&M Precision Rifle. They were great! The fit is perfect! The knee pads worked great too, you don’t even notice they’re there until you kneel. Well worth the money.
Don’t waste your &
They are stiff and don’t form to the body well. I’d save yourself the $ and go 5.11
Great pants
I've had these pants for a while now, and they are very comfortable, even more so than the sweatpants I wear at home. The fit is excellent, provided you follow size chart accurately. As long as you measure yourself correctly, sizing should be good. These pants are perfect for all-day wear, allowing great mobility without sacrificing durability. The material feels tough and resilient. This is my first pair of UF Pro pants, so I can’t compare them to the first generation urban pants. However, I do think the additional pockets and ventilation zippers from the previous model would be a great feature to have. Perhaps there could be two versions of urban pants, one with the streamlined design of the Gen 2 pants and another incorporating the extra functionality of the Gen 1 model. Overall, these pants are great. Comfortable, durable and easy to move in.
Great pants! (I consider them to be more from a new line, not Urban. May be "Undercover"?)
I have the Urban pants of the 1st generation, and I was very looking forward to try the 2nd generation. Before buying I read the reviews and was surprised to see the negative ones. Leaving aside those, which were based on wrong sizing etc., there were negative reviews, based on the comparison with the 1st generation. However, I think that if these pants would be named not “Urban 2nd generation”, there would be much less negative reviews written. I see it as another model of pants, not the 2nd generation of Urban. Let me give the example. In my line of work, I can wear Urban 2nd Gen, Urban 1st Gen, P-40 Jeans, and even P-40 All Terrain to the office. But sometimes I must meet with the clients and be dressed “business casual”. Then All Terrain and Urban Gen 1 would not work, but Urban 2nd Gen would! (By the way, P-40 Jeans too.) Considering that, the number of pockets and other features are totally ok. No side pockets - fine, I need my pants to look like casual ones. They still provide enough room for my EDC items. The pants are slightly narrower than Gen 1, but very comfortable. Sizing was ok for me, 30/30 as other pants that I have. I got a black one, after several washes the color is still bright. I am thinking about buying another color for spring and summer. Summing up, great pants! I think that giving them their own name instead of Urban Gen 2, would be beneficial. Like establishing another product line: “Undercover” or something like that. Thank you, UF Pro! Another great item!
