Originally designed as a mid-layer, the new generation Delta ML works also as stand-alone jacket for when temperatures hit the zero mark. The jacket offers exceptional weather protection, great wear comfort and can be modified according to your layering needs.

The Delta ML Gen.3 is designed to adapt to your layering needs. Wear it as a stand-alone cold-weather jacket or, if you want to wear it underneath an additional jacket, simply detach the hood and wrist warmers as needed. Its anatomic fit ensures it won't add unnecessary bulk to your layering system.

A smart pocket configuration.

The Delta ML Gen.3 Jacket features seven pockets in total. The large front pockets double as ventilation openings, while the spacious lower back pocket on the inside provides storage for detached elements such as the hood or hand warmers.

A small, but handy feature.

Besides warming your hands, the wrist warmers provide access to your chronometer and are easily detachable with a zipper.

FAQ's:

What temperatures is this jacket designed for?

The jacket is best suited as a standalone piece in temperatures between 0 °C and –10 °C, depending on your level of physical activity. In colder conditions, it functions perfectly as a mid-layer under a hardshell such as the Monsoon XT Gen.2 Rain Jacket.

Is the jacket waterproof?

The outer fabric is windproof and water-repellent, protecting you against light rain and snow. For heavy rain, we recommend Monsoon XT Gen.2 Rain Jacket.

What type of insulation does it use?

It’s insulated with lightweight 80 g/m² G-LOFT®, which provides excellent warmth, dries quickly, and stays effective even when wet.

Is it suitable for active movement?

Yes. The jacket features Flex/Zone stretch panels for full freedom of movement, plus 37.5™ technology on the inside to wick moisture and prevent overheating.

Can I adapt the jacket to my layering system?

Yes. Its anatomical fit prevents bulk, so it layers easily under other jackets.

What’s special about the wrist warmers and hood?

Both are detachable, allowing you to adapt the jacket to changing conditions. The wrist warmers feature an opening for quick access to your watch or chronometer, and when not in use, both the hood and wrist warmers can be stored in the jacket’s dedicated inner pocket.

What’s new in the Delta ML Gen.3 compared to Gen.2?

The Delta ML Gen.3 introduces several upgrades for more versatility and comfort in winter conditions:

  • Detachable hood – Gen.2 had a fixed hood, while Gen.3 features a zip-off Hood/Harness® system.
  • Detachable wrist warmers – In Gen.2 they were fixed, now you can remove them and store them when not needed.
  • Smart storage pocket – A dedicated inner pocket was added to keep the hood and wrist warmers when detached.
  • Updated pocket configuration – Gen.3 has multifunctional front pockets with two-way access and improved ventilation, plus a spacious lower back pocket.
  • Refined fit & comfort – Flex/Zone panels and new lining placement improve freedom of movement and layering compatibility.
