FAQ's:

Who can register?

Anyone over 18 with the mental and physical grit to take on a military-inspired challenge. No prior military experience required.

Do I need to be in top shape?

You’ll need solid endurance, strength, and determination. This challenge is demanding—prepare accordingly.

What kind of gear should I bring?

Standard athletic wear suitable for mixed terrain. A detailed gear list will be sent to registered participants.

What if the weather is bad?

The challenge will take place in most weather conditions, including rain and cold. Be prepared—this is part of what makes it real. In case of extreme or dangerous weather, the organisers will adapt the course or postpone for safety.

Will I know the obstacles in advance?

Some will be revealed in advance. Most won’t. Like real selection, surprise is part of the game.

Can I participate in a team?

This is primarily an individual challenge. However, participants are welcome to train and travel in groups.

How long does it typically take to complete?

Completion time varies depending on fitness and strategy, but most participants can expect to finish within 3 to 4 hours.

Is the course marked or navigated?

The course will be clearly marked, but don’t expect easy navigation. Some sections may challenge your orientation and decision-making under stress.

What happens if I can’t finish?

You’ll still walk away knowing exactly where your limits are. That alone makes it worth it.

Are spectators allowed?

Spectators are welcome at the start/finish area, but access to the course will be limited for safety and operational reasons.

Will there be food and drinks available on site?

Yes. Food and drinks will be available at the event base for both participants and spectators.

Is accommodation available nearby?

We recommend booking early, as Pokljuka has limited capacity. Accommodation suggestions and travel tips will be shared via email after registration.

Is there a refund policy?

Due to limited capacity and the nature of the event, registrations are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to another participant by contacting us in advance.

Are there any special rates for service members?

In appreciation of operational professionals, we offer a fixed discounted rate of €70 for active and former members of the military, law enforcement, and emergency services. Proof of service (e.g. ID or badge) may be requested during registration or check-in.
