3-Layer Waterproof and Breathable Laminate
The main laminate construction blocks rain and wind while allowing moisture to escape, keeping conditions inside the garment dry and comfortable during sustained exposure.
Elasticised Extended Rear
The raised back panel with integrated elastic ensures a secure fit, provides additional coverage, and protects against cold drafts and moisture, keeping the pants comfortably in place during movement.
Detachable Suspenders
Detachable suspenders provide primary support and keep the pants securely in position, especially when worn over insulation layers. They distribute weight evenly and help maintain a stable fit during movement in wet and cold conditions.

Front Boot Seal
The integrated gaiter flap connects to the boot laces and covers the front opening between the pants and the boot. This helps prevent water, snow, mud, and debris from entering at the tongue area while keeping the pant leg securely in position during movement.
Elastic Drawcord Width Adjustment
A width-adjustable lower leg opening with an elastic drawcord and cord lock allows the fit around the boot to be quickly tightened or loosened for a secure hold.

The Monsoon X and Monsoon XT Rain Pants are both designed to provide waterproof, windproof and breathable protection in severe weather. Both models feature full-length side zippers for rapid on-off use, adjustable lower hems and detachable suspenders.
The Monsoon X takes a lighter, more mobility-focused approach. It weighs 0.60 kg in size L and features a 2-way stretch laminate, an integrated Waist/Flex system and a low-bulk construction for easier movement, layering and stowage.
The Monsoon XT weighs 0.90 kg in size L and offers additional storage through two upper-leg and two back pockets. It also features integrated shoelace covers that provide additional protection around the front of the boots.
